Hello...

My name is Kara Thomas, I am a photojournalist based in Swansea, South Wales. I often work in digital format, however I'm capable of using film if necessary. 

I have a passion for sports photography and travel. My career aim is to take photographs of my favorite football team Swansea City FC, and to travel the world whilst documenting the life around me. As well as sports I also love to capture events; from weddings, to protest marches. 

I've always been interested in photography from a young age, when all I wanted for Christmas was a Barbie film camera. Years later, with the help of my granddad I got my first dslr and started capturing wildlife images. 

Now at 22 years old, I am a Photojournalism & Documentary photography graduate, with a desire to make photography my future, and not just a hobby.
